Job Responsibilities

As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust server-side applications and APIs that power our platform.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs
• Build efficient, reusable, and reliable server-side logic
• Collaborate with frontend developers and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security
• Design and manage database schemas and queries
• Integrate third-party services, APIs, and messaging systems
• Monitor, debug, and resolve production issues
• Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment

Job Requirements

There are many backend technologies available, but success in this role requires strong fundamentals, system design thinking, and the ability to build high-performance distributed systems. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

• 3–6+ years of experience in Backend Development
• Strong proficiency in Node.js (preferred) or Python
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices
• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL or similar
• Familiarity with caching systems like Redis
• Understanding of system design, scalability, and distributed systems
• Experience with cloud platforms and deployment workflows
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git

Additional Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Relevant backend or cloud certifications are a plus
